We warmly welcome enquiries from International Students who wish to join our College family.
The PMSA Approach
The Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) believe enrolling international students in their schools provides reciprocal benefits for all students.
Brisbane Boys’ College, a PMSA school, is committed to facilitating the opportunity for International Students to participate in quality education. This commitment enhances the learning experience of all students through daily contact with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
International Admissions Process
The College enrols international students both directly; or where referred and assisted by Education Agents, via our partnership with education agency Global Learner. Jennifer Messina, our Global Learner Director, is a well-respected International Education consultant and educator, both at high school and university level, with over 20 years’ experience assisting students, teachers and high-level administrators.
Agents seeking to refer students to Brisbane Boys’ College (international student enrolment), must do so via Global Learner.
The College sets and expects high standards in its academic programs. Boys must also be age appropriate for the year level for which they are applying by Australian education standards.
|Prep to Year 6||Prep to Year 6 enrolments are only accepted on the condition that one or both parents reside with the child in Brisbane for the entire duration of their enrolment in these year levels.
A copy of the parent’s guardian visa will be required under this arrangement.
|Year 7 to Year 12||Boarding is available from Years 7 to 12.
Students must attend as boarding students unless in the full time care of parent/s.
