We welcome applications from both domestic and international students for entry into Prep through to Year 11. Boarding is available from Year 7.

We invite you to explore our application and admissions process for domestic students below. As the admissions process for international students differs slightly, if you are not a current Australian or New Zealand resident, please visit our dedicated International Admissions page. For a detailed explanation of the processes and procedures that guide the admissions activities at the College, please refer to our Admissions Policy.

Offers for admission are subject to satisfactory assessment including academic ability and behavioural criteria.

1

Submit an Application for Enrolment

Submit an Application for Admission using our Apply Online feature, for each son you wish to enrol.

As part of the online application, you will be required to upload a PDF copy of the applicant’s birth certificate or passport and pay a non-refundable, non-transferable $515 application fee.

The successful lodgement of your online application will be acknowledged via email together with a receipt for the application fee.

Once an application has been received and processed by the College, your son’s name will be recorded on the relevant application list.

2

Invited to Interview

You will be contacted by our Admissions team to progress your son’s enrolment as early as three years prior to the year for which entry is sought and invited to submit supporting documentation including immunisation records, latest school and NAPLAN reports (where applicable) and any relevant specialist reports.

Once the above documentation has been received and processed by our Admissions team, you and your son may be invited to attend an interview.

3

Offer of a place

Following an interview, should an offer of a place result, this will be confirmed in writing to the family.

Please note that a range of factors are considered in the allocation of places. We consider it vital for each boy’s self-esteem and confidence that they are able to gain a measure of success in their studies at Brisbane Boys’ College and this forms the basis for our offers of enrolment.

4

Acceptance of offer

An offer of a place is accepted by the parent through payment of the non-refundable Confirmation Fee of $2,100 and return of a signed copy of the Student Enrolment Contract.
