We welcome applications from both domestic and international students for entry into Prep through to Year 11. Boarding is available from Year 7.

We invite you to explore our application and admissions process for domestic students below. As the admissions process for international students differs slightly, if you are not a current Australian or New Zealand resident, please visit our dedicated International Admissions page. For a detailed explanation of the processes and procedures that guide the admissions activities at the College, please refer to our Admissions Policy.

Offers for admission are subject to satisfactory assessment including academic ability and behavioural criteria.

1

Submit an Application for Enrolment

Submit an Application for Admission using our Apply Online feature, for each son you wish to enrol.

As part of the online application, you will be required to upload a PDF copy of the applicant’s Birth Certificate or Passport, Report Cards and relevant Specialist and / or Medical Reports and pay a non-refundable, non-transferable $550 application fee.

The successful lodgement of your online application will be acknowledged via email.

2

Offer and Acceptance

The College is delighted to refocus our Admissions process on families and as such once an application has been received and reviewed by the College as appropriate for enrolment, your son will receive an early Offer (if capacity allows / dependent on submission date) or we will contact you for further information to support the application.

If an Offer has been made the place may be confirmed through submission of the Enrolment Contract and payment of the non-refundable $2250 Confirmation Fee.

Once this is completed you will receive the finalised copy of the Enrolment Contract signed by The Headmaster.

Please note that a range of factors are considered in the allocation of places. We consider it vital for each boy’s self-esteem and confidence that they are able to gain a measure of success in their studies at Brisbane Boys’ College and this forms the basis for our offers of enrolment.

3

Invitation to Interview

The College will stay in touch in the lead up to your son’s admission and one year prior to entry will invite your family to attend an Interview with the Academic Leadership team and submit updated Reports as appropriate.

Following the Interview (which will occur in the first half of the year prior to entry) you will receive a Welcome from our Headmaster and Orientation details.

4

Focused on Families

We are wholly focused on providing a more welcoming and student focused entry process for our prospective students which will allow parents certainty and reassurance regarding their son’s academic future.

We look forward to welcoming you to College.
