Getting to BBC

BBC occupies a thirteen-hectare site in the riverside suburb of Toowong, roughly four kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Our location is ideal, keeping us accessible to vehicle and foot traffic while remaining within walking distance of every major necessity.

Toowong gives BBC families the best of both worlds. The campus enjoys the quiet and privacy of the suburbs combined with the convenience and accessibility of the inner city.

The College is accessible to both pedestrians and vehicles at entrances on both Kensington Terrace and Moggill Road.

You can view a map of BBC’s location here.

Where do I find Reception?

BBC’s Main Reception is easily located down the driveway off Kensington Terrace. Please note that parking is not available down this driveway unless a car park has been reserved for you. If you are looking for Junior School Reception, you can find it directly up the main entry stairway to the Junior School, best accessed through the Moggill Road entrance.

Where do I go for drop-off and pick-up?

The best location for drop-offs and pick-ups depends on which year level your son is in.

  • Kensington Terrace – The best drop-off point for Secondary School students. Only curbside drop-off is available at this location. The Kensington campus driveway is reserved for staff and registered visitors to prevent congestion.
  • Moggill Road – The best drop-off point for Junior School students. This entrance is accessible to both pedestrians and vehicles, leading to a through road that runs alongside the southern border of the campus, directly past the front steps of the Junior School. A dedicated drop-off and pick-up lane is available outside the Junior School. This driveway is one-way and exits onto Miskin Street at the southwestern corner of the campus.

Can my son reach BBC by public transport?

BBC is accessible through numerous public transport options, with bus, train, and ferry stations all available within walking distance of the College. No matter what direction you’re coming from, Toowong’s central location ensures we’re within easy reach.

  • There are approximately 35 Translink bus stops within a one-kilometre walking radius from BBC, including one directly outside the Moggill Road entrance to the campus.
  • Toowong Train Station is a 450-metre walk from the campus.
  • The Toowong Ferry Terminal is a 1.1-kilometre walk from the campus.

The College also maintains its own bus route for our students. Parents interested in utilising this option can purchase semester-long bus passes after enrollment.

I need to visit the campus myself. Where do I park, and do I need to sign in?

If you have a scheduled appointment on the campus, you will be assigned a reserved parking space in either the Junior School or Kensington Terrace car parks. If this is an unscheduled visit or no open parking spaces are available, visitors can use street parking and enter the campus on foot.

Please note that Kensington Terrace is classified as a loading zone between 7:00am to 9:00am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm on school days. If you intend to park your car to enter the College during these hours, you must park on a side street.

For safety purposes, all visitors to our campus are required to sign in at either the Main Reception or the Junior School Reception upon entering the College. They must also sign out when they depart.
