BBC consistently ranks as one of the most successful schools in Queensland and across Australia.
Our student outcomes reveal numerous key advantages:
Our students graduate with the knowledge to change the world and the wisdom to put it to use. Our holistic approach to boys’ education ensures that students leave our College as well-rounded gentlemen ready to contribute to the global community and effect positive change in the world.
BBC’s 2025 median ATAR was 90.05, another extraordinary result from our impressive graduating class of 2025. Our NAPLAN results show continuous improvement year-over-year and demonstrate the benefits of our data driven, student focused literacy and mathematics curriculum. BBC students significantly outperform the average NAPLAN results for both boys and girls across Queensland.
After graduation, alumni join a 15,000-strong network of Old Collegians, ensuring that no matter where life takes them they are bound in the bonds of brotherhood forged during their time at the College. The BBC Old Collegians’ Association works to nurture and strengthen these bonds, offering regular year-level reunions and exclusive events featuring expert guest speakers from a range of industries.
Our alumni have gone on to attend top-tier tertiary institutions around the world, including American Ivy League colleges and Golden Triangle universities in the United Kingdom. These pathways are prepared for through our in-depth QCE and ATAR preparation and diverse and fully resourced offering of electives to qualify boys for any discipline or area of study.
