BBC participates in Great Public Schools (GPS) and Queensland Debating Union (QDU) Debating Competitions. Students from Years 5 to 12 compete in GPS Debating and students from Years 5 to 12 in QDU competitions. Junior School Interhouse Public Speaking opportunities occur through Years 1 to 6.
