Parents and Friends’ Association

The Parents and Friends’ Association, our main parent body, supports the College in providing exceptional educational facilities and experiences for students. In particular it provides parents with an opportunity to play an active role in their son’s education and strengthens the link between the College and the wider community.

The Association undertakes social and fundraising activities for the benefits of students and represents the wider parent body on various decision-making committees within the school. They are also responsible for the management of the Tuckshop and College Shop which are run on a voluntary basis.

Support & Social

Support Groups

Parent Support Groups work in partnership with the association enabling parents to work with the teaching staff in supporting the activities in which their sons participate. Members of Support Groups organise a number of fundraising and social events, all intended to provide additional facilities for the students of the College.

Parent Connections: meet, connect, enjoy

Parent Connections provides a platform for parents to develop new friendships in the BBC community through a range of social events and gatherings. The group meets regularly with the Headmaster and key members of staff to share information and ideas.

As well as being an active voice in the BBC community, Parent Connections provides a valuable liaison between the wider parent body and the school. They provide practical assistance by supporting the Care and Concern group, part of the school pastoral care program. This program is coordinated by Rev Cole and works in strict confidence to support BBC families in need of special care and assistance.

College Shop
Booklists & Stationery

Run by the Parents and Friends’ Association, The College Shop stocks all regulation uniform items as well as stationery, novels, a selection of text books and BBC merchandise.


The College Shop is located at the end of the internal road behind John Noblet Oval off Moggill Road. College Shop is under the Tuckshop. The Second Hand Book Depot is located in Mackenzie Wing underneath the Drama classrooms.

Trading Hours

The College Shop and Book Depot will be operating extended hours for the following dates:

Blazer fittings will be by appointment only, commencing from 10 February. Further information regarding how to book appointments will be forwarded to parents and guardians at the commencement of Term 1.

During the remainder of term time, the shop will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7.30am to 3.30pm.

Uniform Orders

The outfitting and purchase of uniforms for new students is by appointment only. To make an appointment, please contact the College Shop.

On arrival one of our parent volunteers will provide you with personal service and advice on requirements and quantities.

We recommend you place your orders by the due date to ensure your home delivery in January.

Method of Delivery and/or Collection

Delivery of orders placed by the due date, will be sent to your nominated address in the fortnight ending 24 January 2020.

Delivery of orders placed after the due date will still be sent to your nominated address but may alter delivery times and freight cost.  Every effort will be made to still complete the delivery on time but cannot be guaranteed.

Store Collection orders will be available Monday 13 January – Saturday 18 January 2020 at the Campion Education Retail Service Centre, located at Unit 5/121 Evans Road Salisbury 4107. Parking is available out front and around the back.

Boarder’s Booklists will be delivered directly to the College Campus prior to the start of the School Term. Boarding families – please ensure you complete the Boarder Tick Box

Save on Delivery Fee for Multiple Students: Create an account to allow multiple order placement. Families with more than one student at either the same school or other school that use Campion as Book Providers (ie: Somerville House, Clayfield College) will only be charged one delivery fee if orders are placed during the same ordering session.

Please ensure you read the Booklist carefully

There are many books that have new editions, or that have changed from previous years.

2020 Year 12 Students will have already completed their Early commencement orders in Term 4, please check the list for any further requirements in each subject.
