Mac Jarden, Graduate 2016.

During his Senior years at BBC Mac completed a Certificate II and Certificate III in Agriculture via UQ Gatton Vocational Education centre (UQ-GVEC). He also conducted his practical training in Gatton and arranged work experience up north in his school holidays. Mac has immersed himself in all facets of rural life, with equine management being one of his major learning pathways, and he now works on a 2.4 million acre property in the Northern Territory owned by an Australian Agricultural Company. Recently Mac rode thoroughbreds at the Brunette Downs races. One of the horses is owned by the property manager, Anthony Cox, who is also an Old Collegian (1997). On this occasion Mac wore BBC colours, specifically chosen by Anthony. It is great to see Mac following his passion for Agriculture.
