The release of academic results represents a significant milestone for many of our 2018 Seniors.

This year’s cohort has achieved strong results including:

  • OP1 to 2 – 16.2%
  • OP1 to 5 – 40.44%
  • OP1 to 10 – 83.09%
  • OP1 to 15 – 100%

In the Queensland Core Skills Test two students have achieved the distinction of recording the highest scaling score ever achieved at the College. Congratulations to Samuel Munro and Maximilian Windsor.

This year, our Seniors also achieved record results in the Queensland Core Skills Test with more than 32 percent of our OP Eligible students achieving an A grade, more than 70 percent achieving either an A or a B, and more than 95.6 percent recording either an A, B, or C.

Our boys have demonstrated an incredible work ethic throughout the year and their achievements speak not only to their commitment to excellence but to the dedication of our staff and their ability to engage and empower boys in their learning.

2018 has been an impressive year for Brisbane Boys’ College, which also claimed a GPS Premiership in Tennis as well as GPS Championships in Track and Field and Cross Country. These results provide a fitting end to what has been a stellar year across the board – in the classroom, on the sporting field, in spiritual pursuits, out in the community and on stage; achievements that have reflected each boy’s individual endeavour and interests.

At BBC, we believe success has many different faces and we are incredibly proud of all our graduating Seniors; they are great people, capable of achieving truly great things and we know they will go forth with the confidence and capability to change the world.
