BBC ROBOTICS LEGO SPIKE PRIME WORKSHOP

The workshop is suitable for boys and girls in Years 3 to 6. This is a beginner level workshop that is suitable for students with limited or basic experience building and programming.

Spike Prime is the new LEGO robotics set. Students will work in pairs to build different machines and mechanisms to perform fun and crazy challenges. Spike Prime uses scratch-based coding, which makes it easy to program multiple sensors and motors. Students will use loops, conditional operators and variables to problem solve and defeat opponents. The creative design options are endless!

As this is a beginner’s workshop, our coaches can adjust the programming from simple to advanced skills throughout the day.

Date: Monday 6 December and Tuesday 7 December
Time: 9.00am to 3.00pm
Venue: Brisbane Boys’ College Level 2, Hamilton Wing (enter via Moggill Road entrance)
