Highlights

Rugby attracts high participation numbers and home games are always a highlight on the sporting calendar for the BBC community. A number of boys gained representative honours with two Australian Schoolboys, five Queensland Schoolboys, and two Under 16 Queensland players in 2012 alone.

Coaching

The BBC Rugby coaching panel has a wealth of experience including professional Super Rugby coaching, Brisbane Premier Grade and Premiership winning coaching, Queensland and Australian Schoolboys representative coaching, GPS First XV Premiership winning experience and extensive overseas coaching experience.

Training

Teams train two afternoons per week between 3.20pm and 5.00pm. Pre-season training begins in May with important training camps held during the Easter holidays.  All coaches offer qualified instruction aimed at giving the boys confidence in contact.

Uniform

Regulation jersey, black rugby shorts, regulation socks, football boots, training jersey. Mouthguard and headgear recommended.
