Photography Club

13.8 KB image/jpegThe club instructs students in basic black and white photography with specific attention given to:

  • how to handle and maintain your camera
  • how to use your camera to ensure satisfactory photographs in a range of situations
  • how to develop your own film
  • how to print your own photographs
  • how to present your photographs

Facilities can cater for up to 20 students from all age groups. However, it is the intention of the club to develop competence in Years 8 to 9 students, to ensure photographic expertise in Years 11 to 12. Once students acquire a competence in handling the photographic medium, they will become valuable assistants in the production of the College annual, Portal, and in gathering a photographic record of the wide variety of activities at BBC.

The Photography Club usually runs three afternoons a week (3.15pm - 5.00pm) for the whole year.
