Extensive research reveals that what fundamentally determines how children achieve and adjust is the 'mind set' they bring with them to life's experiences.

Elements of the Pastoral Care curriculum are based on Program ACHIEVE (developed by Michael E Bernard) and the philosophies of parenting expert Michael Grose. From goal setting and leadership qualities, to confidence building and the importance of friendship, boys develop the required skills to further their academic opportunities and self-directed social discoveries.

The curriculum teaches students how to achieve success and develop social-emotional-behavioural wellbeing through seven tenets of the Pastoral Care program:

  • Get along
  • Persistence
  • Resistance
  • Confidence
  • Organisation
  • Leadership
  • Anti-bullying
