Brisbane Boys' College Foundation Ltd.

The mission of the Brisbane Boys' College Foundation is to help facilitate and foster growth and development of the College as a Queensland GPS school of excellence. For this mission to be successful the Foundation needs to help ensure the financial security of the College by developing a commitment to philanthropy and a spirit of generosity within the College community.

As a vehicle to harness the goodwill, energy and financial support of its community, the BBC Foundation was established in 1990. We conduct appeals, events and other programs in order to assist the College with its present and future financial needs. Your support will ensure that the school can direct funds to vital projects that otherwise might not receive funding. These contributions will help maintain and improve facilities, enhance academic and co-curricular programs and enrich the teaching and learning experiences of our students. Gifts provide the donor with tax benefits and Brisbane Boys' College with critical resources to fulfil its mission.

The success of the Foundation is very dependent on receiving support from the wider College community.

Board of Directors

The BBC Foundation Ltd is registered as a Company Limited by guarantee and is today managed by a Board of Directors. The Chairman of the Board is Mr Andrew MacArthur, an Old Collegian (1975 alumni) and parent of three boys who have attended the College. The Headmaster, representatives from the PMSA, the Old Collegians' Association (OCA) and the Parents and Friends' Association are also on the board. There is a mixture of current parents and Old Boys amongst the other directors.

Development Office Staff

The Director of Development is the Executive Officer of the Foundation and is responsible for the daily operation of the Foundation. Aided by the Development Coordinator, they assist the Foundation Board of Directors and the Executive of the Old Collegians Association and manage the affairs of both the BBC Foundation and the OCA.

Annual Giving is a special opportunity for every member of the school community, whether an Old Collegian, current or past parent, to make an annual gift to the school.

The philanthropy of our community continues to support each boy in developing his individual talents and potential. The Foundation invites you to help the College provide opportunities for future generations of BBC men through a donation to the Annual Giving Program.
