The knowledge he acquires, the values he adopts and the friends he makes during his school days will play a pivotal role in shaping his future. The basis of our educational philosophy at Brisbane Boys' College is simple: a successful education does not teach students what to think, but how to think.

A great foundation

The College emphasises personal development and excellence in all fields, from the Junior School (Prep to Year 6), where a solid foundation in educational basics is instilled, to the Middle (Years 7 to 9) and Senior Schools (Years 10 to 12), where natural abilities and potential are fostered and encouraged.

Encouraging and supporting

Boys are given the chance to pursue specialised interests through the wider school programme, which is a natural extension of what is taught in the classroom.

Care and guidance

Providing guidance and support to boys who are away from home is a great responsibility. To ensure the best possible care, the boarding facilities have been specifically designed to provide a warm and caring environment, with a qualified Sister available 24 hours a day. Boarders have access to all College facilities. Students' spiritual and emotional needs are met by counsellors and the College Chaplain.

To prepare tomorrow's leaders, Brisbane Boys' College is committed to maintaining its holistic philosophy of helping students develop flexible minds, strong characters and sound belief systems.
