Careers
The College’s Career Education programme encompasses years 8 – 12 with particular emphasis on the years when important decisions have to be made. Some of the computerised career packages available in the Careers Library include:-
- Career Mate / Career Builder
- OzJac (Australian Courses and Careers Database)
Students are able to research possible career pathways by availing themselves of the printed material and electronic information that is accessible to them.
Careers Expo
An important event at the College is the Annual Careers Expo held each June, in conjunction with St Aidens’ School.
On this night over a hundred Old Collegians and parents discuss their career paths and experiences with current students.
Staff from the Universities, TAFE Institutes, Defence Forces, Hotel Management Schools and many other educational providers compliment the Old Collegians’ and Parents contributions.
