Senior swimming registration 2007-08
During terms 4 and 1 and throughout the Dec-Jan holidays, senior swimming training is designed specifically
for College swimmers to train and prepare for the GPS competition season.
Pre season training is available during term 3. The annual swimming camp (or tour) for all grade 8 to
12 swimmers is conducted during the final week of the January holidays prior
to the commencement of the competitive season in term 1.
All boys are encouraged to commence some training in the preseason
depending on their other sporting commitments, and be prepared to train
consistently throughout the 'in' season. All senior squad members are
encouraged to be members of a Brisbane swimming club and compete regularly
at this level.
The GPS team selected to represent the College at the annual championship is announced one week prior to the championship. Selection is based on training performance, attendance, attitude and racing performance at the 5 selection meets prior to the Championship.
