As part of the College's commitment to the moral development and conscience-raising of its students, the BBC Amnesty International Group (AI) meets weekly. In common with more than sixty other secondary schools, the group is established to bring together students committed to working for human rights. Meetings for discussion and letter writing are held once a week during Tursday lunch times.

One excursion is conducted per semester with AI student groups from other schools. In addition, there are film nights throughout the year involving issue-based and documentary cinema.
