Sailing Open Day and Blessing of the Fleet this Sunday 14th of October

BBC offers Sailing as a summer sport activity for all students in years 6 to 12 during Terms 4 and 1. Students of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate in this two-term activity where the programs range from basic learn-to-sail through to fleet and teams racing competition.

BBC Sailing has excellent facilities on the water's edge at Manly Boat Harbour together with a fleet of 13 Pacer sailing dinghies and two Naiad rescue craft. BBC Sailing is a registered training organisation and provides boys with training and certification in Basic Sailing Skills as part of the Get into Small Boat Sailing accreditation scheme managed by Yachting Australia.

Sailing registrtion costs $180 (which covers two terms), which covers fully training, registration with Yachting Australia, sailing manual and lunch each Sunday. All boys will need to have a lifejacket and waterproof footwear, and the sailing uniform which can be purchased at the BBC Uniform Shop.
