17th January 2008 - GPS Team Selections

With the first match for the 1st XI and all A teams fast approaching on Saturday 26 January, and all other GPS teams on Saturday 2 February teams will be selected and placed on the Cricket notice board near the pool. In due course, they will also be uploaded on the website

17th January 2008 – Private Coaching Sessions

For boys in Year 7 – 10 (2008) private coaching sessions are available during one of your practical physical education lessons each week. These sessions will run during Term 1 2008, by Ben Dunk, BBC Cricket’s Head Coach. The cost of these sessions will be $35.

17th January 2008 - Jan/Feb 2008 – GPS Cricket begins

The GPS cricket season (Yr 8 - 12) will commence for all teams on 2 February. However, the 1st XI and all ‘A’ teams will start their season 26 January. These sides will be notified in due course. Click here for a copy of the 2008 GPS Draw

30th October 2008 – Term 4 Trials

With the CIC cricket season commencing on Saturday 7 February, trials will be held during Term 4 2008 to assist in the selection of teams. Click here for further information and a copy of the associated form

30th October 2008 – 2009 Cap Presentation and Internal Trial

17th January 2008 – Sportzdat
An exciting new statistical program will be used by BBC Cricket this coming season. It is known as Sportzdat and has been set up by Queensland Cricket.

To use the program, please click on the Sportzdat link on the home page and then choose the statistics link. Select player statistics and scroll down to the 2007-2008 Summer season then GPS Competition.
